Jenn's Bachelorette Party and Lakeside Pub Crawl
We may not have called it a hen party, but all the ladies sure had feathers. We made 25 feather hair clips in the bride's favorite colors. Each hair piece was unique. Some had zebra bows, some had lace flowers, some had red sequins. We made the bachelorette's red party veil and sashes for the bride to be, maid of honor, and the mother of the groom.
We of course made pecker pops in different flavored chocolates with nuts.. ahem… in the appropriate place. There was almond flavor with almonds, white chocolate raspberry with blueberry/acai bites, plain white chocolate, plain milk chocolate, swirl, and nutella chocolate with hazelnuts. We made penis shaped tags to warn they may contain nuts. These guys were proudly displayed on our cake pop stand along with the other mini desserts we made for the night.
The food was inspired by the mini tasting cookbooks that the bride had on her registry. The menu consisted of an Espresso Nutella mousse, pistachio pudding, layered mango/strawberry boozy jello shots, peanut butter cheesecakes, cold cucumber soup shooters, spinach artichoke bites, black bean and mango quinoa salad, baked jalapeno dip and individual veggie and hummus cups. We also made a fun backdrop for behind the buffet.
We prepared fresh made mojito mix, then pregarnished little zombie glasses with mint and a lime round and topped with a few shots of aged rum. Guests only needed to add ice, top with the mojito mix and a bit of pellegrino or club soda. There was also sangria and an ice luge made of a certain part of the male anatomy.
Since this was a drinking event we wanted to make sure we had coffee to keep everyone going. Ugly to go coffee cups clearly needed personalized coffee coozies.
We made personalized water bottles just for the event. Your guests need to stay hydrated! They were a great take away for the evening's events. When lined up, we offered a bowl of cherry cordial kisses and a bowl of non-asprins.
